Woman Declines Bridesmaid Invite from Former Friend Who Only Befriended Her to Spite Her Ex, Bridezilla Bashes Her During Bachelorette Trip

Bachelorette parties are supposed to be fun, but they can be pretty awkward when you don't know anyone, or worse—when you're not even close to the bride anymore. That's the situation this woman found herself in when a former friend, who she'd stopped talking to two years ago, invited her to be a bridesmaid. To make things even more uncomfortable, she stopped talking to the bride because she had been a bad friend. She even discovered that the bride had originally befriended her just to get back at her ex. So naturally, she declined the invite.

Thinking that was the end of the drama, she didn't expect what came next. While she skipped the bachelorette trip, she soon heard from someone else that the bride spent a good chunk of the night bashing her for not showing up. Imagine not going to a party and still somehow becoming the center of the drama. In the end, declining the invite was definitely the best move.
